The Story of our name "Apartment Vista Alegre"
The street in front of our building is Vista Alegra which translates to "happy view" and it certainly is. From our balcony to the south we view the marina, the town center and mountains in the distant. To the north is a well-groomed sandy beach. In front there is a little park below. We can hear the sea lapping up to the rocky cove flanked by the beach and marina jetties. Further ahead across the Gulf of Sant Jordi is the sandy shoal and protected Natural Park of the Ebro River Delta with its lighthouse, dunes, oyster and mussel beds, rice paddies, and year round flock of pink flamingos that make it a birder’s paradise.

The apartment is completely furnished with everything you could need on your vacation, including appliances, dishes and linens. This is a 7 room apartment with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, fitted kitchen, cozy living and dining room, with a utility patio, and a balcony with amazing front line sea views.
- The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, and all of the cookware and utensils you will need.
- The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, sink with vanity, toilet, linen cabinet, curling iron and a blow dryer.
- The master bedroom sleeps 2 with a queen size bed and the 2 additional guest rooms sleep 1 each with single beds. There is also a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room sleeps 2. (Apartment accommodates 6 people)
- There is also a TV in the living room with Spanish cable programming (there are several stations in English with American TV shows). We also have a very fast satellite WiFi internet connection.
- For your convenience there is a clothes washer, dryer, and drying line on the utility patio.
- The interior bedrooms stay cool in the summer, but there is an air conditioning unit in the sun-facing living room for cooling in summer and heating in the winter. The rest of the year the climate is very temperate and comfortable.
So what will your dream rental cost?
It will depend on the season and how long you plan to stay. The price ranges from 120 to 200 Euros per night with a minimum 5 night stay or 7 night (Saturday to Saturday) during high season. Charge includes rental agency fee, utilities, and tourist taxes. Please see our Calendar for availability and seasonal rates.
A 60 € housekeeping charge is additional per stay or every 2 weeks depending on the length of your stay. Additional services are available through our rental agency. Deposits and damage assessments are also handled through our rental agency the Dream Store Spain.

Apartment Vista Alegre is easy to get to. . .
- By Air: Barcelona's El Prat Intl. Airport is the most convenient to fly into from the United States. Although, if you are stopping over in another major European city you can catch a budget airline flight into the much closer Reus Airport. You can also fly into the Valencia Airport as a third option further to the south.
- By Bus or Train: From any of these Airports you can catch a bus or train to L'Ampolla. Bus or train can take 2 to 3 hours depending on your wait and the route. The train station is an easy walk to the apartment. Taxis are also available.
- By Car: We prefer getting a rental car as it is the fastest and easiest way to get to L'Ampolla. The roads are wonderfully maintained and with easy traffic outside of Barcelona, but they do come with the extra cost of tolls (be sure to have Euros or a credit card handy for the tolls). Plus getting a car lets you explore remote beaches, castles, wineries, and quaint villages.
